Adamu Garba: Enemies of Nigeria funding protests and destruction, accuses Simon Ekpa

Allegations have been made by former All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba, pointing to Nigerian enemies, such as self-proclaimed Biafra Prime Minister Simon Ekpa, as the masterminds behind the protests against President Bola Tinubu’s administration.

Garba asserted that individuals like Ekpa have employed certain influencers to incite chaos in Nigeria.

He went on to claim that these parties engaged Northern influencers to capitalize on the prevailing economic difficulties to undermine Tinubu’s government.

Expressing his thoughts on X, Garba stated: “The true backers of these rioters, who are not genuine protesters, are sworn enemies of Nigeria, including individuals like @simon_ekpa, who seek refuge in a foreign land while orchestrating the downfall of their homeland.”

“Such actions show a profound disconnect from their own origins and heritage.”

“I have always maintained that the North has been misled, and this situation only reinforces my stance.”

“These actors have enlisted the support of certain Northern influencers to exploit the current economic hardships and discredit the Tinubu Administration.”

“Furthermore, some disgruntled politicians view this as an opportunity to seek reprisal against the government for their electoral defeats.”

“If Finland refuses to cooperate in repatriating Ekpa for questioning by Nigerian authorities, it might prompt a reconsideration of our diplomatic relations with them.”
