Last week, Ada Karl, also known as Ada Slim, a popular Nollywood actress, underwent surgery for fibroids in Lagos. She is currently in recovery.
Ada Slim took to Instagram to share post-surgery photos and described fibroids as a “monster.”
She expressed:
“Thank you Jesus for a successful fibroid surgery. Thank you, my Instagram family, for all the prayers on my pre-surgery post. No matter what you are going through in life, just know that you are not alone. We all have real-life battles, but it’s a pity that everybody appears rich and healthy on Instagram. I hope this post inspires you to be stronger and understand that joy comes in the morning. Fibroids are a monster, but God rules the universe and its inhabitants. Goodbye FIBROID! New year, new phase, new glory, new testimony, new money.”
