Actress Roseanne Barr claims Coronavirus is a ploy to ‘get rid’ of her entire generation Actress Roseanne Barr claims Coronavirus is a ploy to ‘get rid’ of her entire generation

American actress and comedian, Roseanne Barr has made the extraordinary claim that the Coronavirus pandemic is a deliberate attempt to “get rid” of her entire generation.

The 67-year-old shared this controversial viewpoint during an episode of Quarantined With Norm Macdonald, a YouTube talk show hosted by the 60-year-old comedian.

“The earth is like ‘here’s a virus, you know, here’s a little test see how you do,'” Norm remarked, introducing the topic.

To this, the Emmy and Golden Globe winner responded, “I think we’re being forced to evolve. I think they’re just trying to get rid of all my generation.”

Roseanne suggested her theory is supported by millennials attempting to “inherit the money” of the boomer generation.

“The boomer ladies that, you know, that inherited their… you know, are widows. They inherited the money so they got to go wherever the money is and figure out a way to get it away from people,” the sitcom star stated.

The mother-of-five continued by expressing that the pandemic could “absolutely” be the “rapture.”

Barr’s career began in stand-up comedy before she starred in the self-titled sitcom, Roseanne, which enjoyed enormous success from 1988-1997.
