Nigerian actor, Gbolagade Akinpelu, known as “Ogun Majek,” has reached out to the public for assistance due to his failing health.
The plea for financial aid was made by his son, Akinpelu Akeem Abidemi.
Abidemi appealed to the people of Ibadanland, Oyo State, and all Nigerians to contribute towards his father’s treatment, as he has been struggling with an undisclosed illness for several years.
Despite exhausting all available resources, the family has not been able to improve his condition, hence the request for public support.
Abidemi also requested prayers from people of all faiths for his father’s recovery and for the generosity of potential donors.
Yoruba actress Foluke Daramola Salako previously urged Nigerians to donate to help cover the actor’s medical expenses through her foundation, and some contributions were received. She disclosed that Ogun Majek was undergoing treatment at an undisclosed medical facility.
