Actor Moses Armstrong Accused of Raping a Minor in Akwa Ibom, Suspended by the Actors Guild of Nigeria

Following an accusation of raping a 16-year-old girl in Akwa Ibom, the Actors Guild of Nigeria AGN has taken the decision to suspend actor Moses Armstrong.

 

After a complaint was filed against him, Moses was apprehended by the state police command. The president of the guild, Emeka Rollas, confirmed the arrest and stated that the matter was being addressed by the First Lady of the state, Martha Udom Emmanuel, through her Family Empowerment and Youth Re-Orientation Path Initiative.

 

In a statement issued on Saturday, June 15, and signed by the publicity secretary, Monalisa Chinda-Coker, the guild announced the immediate suspension of Moses. He is prohibited from acting until the investigation into the allegation is concluded.
