According to Tinubu, PDP is a “Poverty Development Party” and he questions its continued existence

During a political meeting on Sunday, September 4, the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu, expressed his astonishment at the continued existence of the PDP despite its alleged failure as a government in power for sixteen years.

Tinubu, in his speech, emphasized the need for his party to refrain from resorting to insults and abuses against their rivals. He boasted about the APC’s intelligence and courage compared to the PDP.

He criticized the previous government’s neglect of railway infrastructure, accusing them of turning it into an “incubator,” and questioned why the PDP still strives for leadership and direction. He claimed that the APC is far superior and has a clear vision.

Tinubu dismissed the PDP as the “poverty development party” and assured that the APC is focused on progressive ideas and development. He emphasized the party’s commitment to education, national development, and agricultural projects.
