According to President Trump, Iran will face severe consequences for recent events, not just a warning but a threat as US Marines are deployed to protect the US Embassy in Iraq.

Following reports of Iranians storming the US Embassy in Baghdad, President Donald J. Trump has threatened Iran with retaliation.

On Tuesday, a group of Iraqi protesters breached the US embassy compound in Baghdad, causing damage and setting fire to the reception area. This occurred after US Military attacks on Iran-backed Kataib Hezbollah, in response to the killing of an American contractor in a rocket attack on an Iraqi military base.

In a series of tweets, President Trump held Iran accountable for any harm to American lives or property, stating that the US will take action.

President Trump disclosed the landing of US Marines in Baghdad, describing the action as ‘anti-Benghazi’ and making it clear that Iran will face significant consequences if American lives or property are harmed. He emphasized that the Iranian regime should view his tweets as a ‘threat’, rather than a warning.
