Gasperini, the manager of Atalanta, has announced that Ademola Lookman is ready for their Serie A match against AC Milan.
The upcoming game between La Dea and Stefano Pioli’s team will take place at the Stadio Giuseppe Meaza, San Siro, on Sunday.
Lookman recently returned from the Africa Cup of Nations with an injury, causing him to miss the previous weekend’s 3-0 victory over Sassuolo.
Despite this setback, Gasperini confirmed that the winger has recovered and is now available for selection.
Quoting Gasperini from football Italia, he said, “His comeback adds strength to our team. He looked impressive during training yesterday, with the injury pain significantly reduced. He is set to play tomorrow.”
This season, the 26-year-old has scored seven goals and contributed three assists for Atalanta.
