Abuja Stadium Sees Gathering of Hunger Protesters

On Thursday, hunger protesters flocked to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium in Abuja. This action was in compliance with a court order that confined their protest to this location.

As early as 6 am, protesters began to assemble, chanting solidarity songs.

Heavily armed security personnel are present at the stadium.

Activists and various groups had proclaimed this protest in reaction to the prevailing economic challenges.

The protesters are anticipated to remain at the venue for 10 days.
