Abidoye: Cherubim and Seraphim Spiritual Leader was a committed prophet – Peter Obi

The demise of Prophet Samuel Adefila Abidoye, the leader of the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement, has been deeply mourned by Peter Obi, the Labor Party Presidential candidate in the recent election. Prophet Abidoye passed away at the age of 103 in his Ilorin home, the capital of Kwara State, around 10:00 am on Sunday morning.

Expressing his grief, Obi described Prophet Abidoye as a dedicated and exceptional servant of God who positively impacted millions of lives nationwide and beyond. He conveyed his condolences on his X page, emphasizing the significant void created by Abidoye’s passing not only within his denomination but also in the broader Christian community and the nation at large.

Obi extended his sympathies to the Cherubim and Seraphim Movement Church Worldwide, the Christian Association of Nigeria, the government, and the people of Kwara State. He invoked blessings for the departed soul, praying for eternal rest as he acknowledged the irreplaceable loss experienced by all those who were touched by Prophet Abidoye’s spiritual leadership.
