Abdullahi Ganduje urges Nigerian Government to hold Yusuf accountable for Kano violent protests

The call to investigate the recent violent protests in Kano has been made by the National chairman of the All Progressives Congress, APC, Abdullahi Ganduje.

Ganduje’s call comes in response to allegations from the Kano State government that the APC played a role in the unrest.

Accusing Governor Abba Yusuf of orchestrating the violence to disrupt President Bola Tinubu’s administration, the former Governor of Kano State emphasized that the state government ought to be held responsible for the chaos.

In a statement released by Ganduje’s chief press secretary, Edwin Olofu, it was revealed that credible intelligence pointed to Governor Yusuf’s administration as the direct instigator of the violent protests.

According to the statement, “The Kano State government’s suggestion that the All Progressives Congress (APC) sponsored the recent violent protests is false. It was, in fact, the Kano State government itself that supported the protests to smear the reputation of President Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu-led administration.”

Expressing grave concern over a sitting governor inciting such unrest and endangering the lives and properties of innocent citizens, Ganduje strongly denounced this irresponsible behavior aimed at destabilizing Kano and undermining the peace and security of the region, particularly tarnishing the President’s good image.
