In a recent rapid-fire session with GOAL, Makelele lauded the Real Madrid sensation, hailing him as a ‘great footballer’ and praising his exceptional abilities.
Expressing his admiration for Bellingham, the Frenchman remarked: “Bellingham, he is amazing. He is a great player, I think. I hope he wins the Ballon d’Or.”
Since his transfer from Borussia Dortmund to Real Madrid, Bellingham has impressed with his stellar performances, contributing 23 goals and 13 assists in 42 matches for Carlo Ancelotti’s squad in his first season.
