From Lebanon, 50 trafficked Nigerian girls and 19 stranded Nigerians have been successfully brought back to Nigeria.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, revealed this on his verified Twitter handle, announcing that the group arrived in Nigeria on Sunday, May 24.
Assisted by the Lebanese Government and the Lebanese community in Nigeria, 50 trafficked Nigerian girls and 19 stranded Nigerians were evacuated from #Lebanon and safely returned to Nigeria.
These individuals will now undergo the mandatory 14-day isolation period.
