A Boeing 737 skids off the runway at Senegal airport, injuring 10 people

A total of ten individuals sustained injuries on Wednesday as a result of a Boeing 737 aircraft, carrying 85 passengers, skidding off the runway at Dakar airport, the capital of Senegal.

Confirming the incident, Senegal’s Minister of Transport, Malick Ndiaye, identified the aircraft involved as an Air Sénégal flight operated by TransAir.

Ndiaye further revealed that the flight was en route to Bamako late on Wednesday with a total of 79 passengers, two pilots, and four cabin crew members on board.

The Minister assured that the injured individuals were receiving medical attention at a hospital, while the rest of the passengers were accommodated in a hotel for rest.
