The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) on Monday debunked as false, a NAF recruitment advertisement being circulated on social media platforms, labeling it as an attempt to deceive applicants.
In a statement released by the Director of Public Relations and Information, NAF, Air Commodore Edward Gabkwet, in Abuja, it was stated that “NAF is not currently accepting applications”, and cautioned applicants to be wary of scammers.
Gabkwet affirmed that the advertisement did not originate from the NAF, and reminded Nigerians that the organization recently completed the training of recruits of Basic Military Training Course 43/2022, on July 8.
He informed the public that they would be duly notified whenever NAF commences recruitment.
“The public is once again reminded that the process of recruitment and selection into NAF is completely free and devoid of any form of bribery. Anyone who offers money under any pretense does so at their own risk.
