Fr. Mbaka’s relocation from Adoration ministry to Monastery

  • Fr. Ejike Mbaka has been moved from his position at the Adoration Ministry to a Monastery by the Catholic church
  • A replacement priest has been assigned to take over his previous role

Rev. Fr. Ejike Mbaka, a charismatic Enugu Priest, has been reassigned from the Adoration Ministry.

The previously closed Adoration Ministry was reopened on Sunday, three months after its shutdown.

Mbaka’s transfer to a Monastery has taken immediate effect.

Meanwhile, Rev. Fr. Anthony Amadi, a clergy from the Catholic Diocese of Enugu, has been appointed to lead the Adoration Ministry in place of Fr. Mbaka.

However, the church’s recent decision has sparked protests among Mbaka’s followers.

A prominent member of the ministry, confirming the appointment to NewsNow, expressed disappointment about the development.

According to the member, “the Bishop has been attempting to take control of the Adoration Ministry for a while. But I can guarantee that no priest will succeed there. As long as Fr. Mbaka is absent, no one will come to worship there.”

“This could lead to chaos. It’s inconceivable that such a stern decision has been made. We, the adorers, will not accept any other priest,” the member added.

“Fr. Mbaka worked hard and singlehandedly built that place. Now, they have stealthily taken over the place from behind. Let’s see how successful they will be.”

Mbaka’s troubles began three months ago following the delivery of a sermon criticizing Mr. Peter Obi, the presidential candidate of the Labour Party.
