PAP Urges Foreign Scholars to Justify FG Scholarship

Dr. Dennis Otuaro, the Administrator of the Presidential Amnesty Programme, has called on students studying abroad on scholarship to demonstrate the value of the Federal Government’s investment in them by taking their studies seriously.

Speaking during a meeting with students on PAP scholarship in the United Kingdom, Otuaro emphasized the importance of academic performance, according to a statement by his Special Assistant on Media, Igoniko Oduma.

He highlighted the achievements of past PAP scholarship recipients who excelled in various fields, urging the current students to uphold the tradition of academic excellence.

Otuaro noted that many PAP graduates have made significant contributions to national development following their studies.

He reiterated that the scholarship program aligns with President Bola Tinubu’s vision for peace, stability, and socio-economic progress in the Niger Delta, as outlined in the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Addressing the students, Otuaro stressed the importance of striving for academic success and representing Nigeria with integrity.

He underscored the government’s commitment to promoting human capital development in the region through initiatives like the PAP scholarship program.

The students, in response, expressed appreciation for Otuaro’s support and his focus on their education and well-being.
