Rangers vs St Johnstone: Balogun’s Participation in Doubt

Leon Balogun’s availability for Rangers’ League Cup match against St Johnstone is uncertain, as confirmed by head coach Philippe Clement.

Today, the Light Blues are set to face St Johnstone in the second round at Hampden Park.

Due to an injury, Balogun was absent from Rangers’ recent UEFA Champions League second leg qualifying round fixture against Dynamo Kiev from Ukraine.

Clement expressed uncertainty regarding the center-back’s readiness for the upcoming game, “Ridvan will be out. I don’t like to say too much in detail but it will be around four and six weeks, something like that,” Clement stated.

“Scott Wright is facing a minor issue and may not be available. Meanwhile, Leon Balogun remains a question mark, with the rest of the team deemed fit for the match.”
