Halima Abubakar’s Passion for Children and People with Disabilities

Actress Halima Abubakar expresses her dedication to supporting individuals with disabilities and children in Nigeria and Africa through her foundation.

Recently, at the Halima Abubakar Foundation Appreciation Outreach event in Abuja, she extended a helping hand to over 2,000 people with disabilities by providing essential items like food, wheelchairs, and crutches.

Abubakar emphasized that assisting those in need has been a top priority for her. She shared, “The stories of individuals living with disabilities are incredibly moving. Some were born with disabilities, while others have become disabled due to preventable circumstances. I am inspired by their determination to pursue their dreams, and we have a responsibility to support them in achieving their goals. There is indeed strength in disability.

“The Halima Abubakar Foundation is committed to expanding its outreach to all regions in Nigeria and other parts of the continent where there are vulnerable individuals with disabilities.”

The Emir of Karomajiji in Abuja, Suleiman Muhammad, who attended the event organized by Chris Odey, the founder of the Goodwill Ambassador Agency, praised Abubakar’s generosity, lauding her as a woman of integrity who is adored by the community. He also encouraged more celebrities to follow her example.
