The Latest FIFA Ranking Shows Super Falcons Holding onto 36th Position

In the most recent FIFA women’s world ranking unveiled on Friday, Nigeria’s Super Eagles continued to occupy the 36th spot.

Meanwhile, the Super Falcons of Nigeria have solidified their position as the number one team in Africa.

Despite a disappointing performance at the 2024 Olympic Games, where Randy Waldrum’s squad struggled and lost all three of their group stage matches to Brazil, Spain, and Japan.

The United States of America surged to the top spot in the rankings after securing the gold medal in the women’s football tournament at the Olympics.

Following a fourth-place finish at the Olympics, Spain, the reigning world champions, slipped down to third place in the rankings.

The next edition of the FIFA Women’s World ranking is scheduled to be unveiled on December 20, 2024.
