Big Brother Naija contestant, Zion, 26, from the ‘No Loose Guard’ edition, confessed that his girlfriend and housemate, Chinwe, 30, doesn’t fit his ideal woman description.
He mentioned that he is with Chinwe because of the benefits he derives from their relationship.
During a conversation with fellow housemate Fairme on Thursday, Zion elaborated that though Chinwe isn’t his usual type, she treats him better than others who are his type have treated him.
Zion shared: “Chinwe is quite mature. She is the eldest sibling, taking care of her younger brothers and sisters. Her mother is deceased, and her father has remarried.”
“Usually, I’m with a girl who may never bother to inquire about what I do for a living. But I’ve heard Chinwe pray for me, she sends me spiritual guidance. She is very prayerful. These are all qualities she possesses.”
“When I visit her place, she prepares amazing, abundant meals. She tends to make food that will keep me satisfied, sometimes she cooks so much that she tries to convince me to spend the night because I usually prefer not to. She fulfills any request I have, even having a cook who occasionally stops by, and she is also tidy.”
“It’s just the overall atmosphere, she has a homely character even if she doesn’t match my usual preferences. I reflected on the fact that I have been with women who align with my preferences but haven’t treated me as well as this.”
Fairme added: “That’s true, this situation is unique. That’s why we emphasize to women that it’s not just about appearances, but the personality and how you treat your partner that truly count.”
Zion further emphasized: “The treatment of a man holds significance.”
Fairme remarked: “Millennials have more insight on all of this.”
Zion joked: “I have been around Gen Z, you know.”
Fairme commented: “Some of them still exhibit wisdom though.”
Zion expressed: “There are some sensible Gen Z individuals, but the ones I have encountered have been quite a handful. Not to say they lack sense, but they can be more challenging.”
Chinwe had previously disclosed during a disagreement with Zion that she had “sponsored” him to be part of the show.
