First Batch of Non-Statutory Board Appointments Released by Ogun State

The list of members appointed by Governor Dapo Abiodun to oversee various boards in Ogun State has been made public by the Ogun State Government.

A statement by Hon. Kayode Akinmade, the Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to the governor, confirmed this development.

These appointments are the initial ones to be unveiled by the state government, with more appointments expected to follow soon.

The appointed individuals will be responsible for leading agencies such as Ogun Waste Management Authority (OGWAMA), Ogun State Agricultural and Multipurpose Credit Agency (OSAMCA), Plantgate Limited, and the Ogun State Alternative Medicine Board (OGAMB).

Among the members of OGWAMA are Hon. Ajibola Kaka (chairman), Prince Salako Olalekan, Mr. Iroko Ganiu, Hon. Adefisan Kazeem, Aare Fagade Ajibola, Otemolu Sheu Olakunle, Hon. M.A.O. Akovoyon, Hon. Olubode Mankole, Mr. Olukoya Bankole Adelaja, and Mr. Kadejo Akeem Adekunle.

OSAMCA board members include Sodeinde Kunle (chairman), Olaonipekun Tajudeen A., Akinoso Olusesi Olayinka, Kuye Rasaq Abiodun, Odeyemi Rafiu, Alh. Agoro Akinlagun, Adeogun Wasiu, Mr. Kazeem Adeyanju, Mrs. Bello Iyabo, Barr. Risikat Sanusi, Elder S.M.A. Akinyemi, and Oyewole Akeem A.

Heading Plantgate Limited is Engr. Mukaila Olugbuyi Bello (chairman), along with Hon. Nuberu Adesanya Olufemi and Adeleye Jimo Pelumi.

For OGAMB, the members comprise Nurudeen Olaleye Alawoerin (chairman), Chief Mrs Tuke Omotara, HRH Agasagan Awusinu, Chief Kokumo Abiodun Edubona, Alhaja Iyabo Sonubi (Agbebi) Aroyeun Shuaib Ajisope (Onisegun), Prof. Cyril Gbolagade Omisande, Haruna Ishola Elegbede, Alhaji Tunde Abioye, and representatives from the ministries of Culture and Tourism, Agriculture, Forestry, Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs, and Health.

The appointees have been urged in the statement to strive for excellence in their respective agencies, demonstrate the trust placed in them by the Ogun State Government, and bring about significant improvements in the agencies’ operations.
