Leon Osman, a former English midfielder, has singled out Arsenal’s new star Riccardo Calafiori, who is valued at £40 million, as the player who could potentially lead the Gunners to victory in the English Premier League this season.
Having joined Arsenal in July, the defender penned a five-year contract that will keep him at the club until 2029 after making the switch from Bologna.
Arsenal has secured the second spot in the league for the past two seasons, always trailing behind Manchester City.
Osman is optimistic that Calafiori’s arrival could be a game-changer for Mikel Arteta’s team this season.

At 22 years old, Calafiori played a significant role in Bologna’s qualification for the UEFA Champions League for the first time since 1964.
