Manchester United Dealt Blow with Luke Shaw Injury Ahead of Fulham Match

It has been revealed that Luke Shaw will be absent for the initial three Premier League games for Manchester United.

On Tuesday evening, a statement from the club verified that Shaw is grappling with a calf injury that he acquired during training.

Despite his absence from United’s matches since February, Shaw featured in England’s journey to the Euro 2024 final.

The 29-year-old is now aiming for a comeback post the first international break in September.

The club statement expressed, “Due to a calf injury from pre-season training, Luke Shaw will be unavailable for the start of the Premier League season.”

“He is earnestly engaging in his rehabilitation with the goal of returning after the initial international break.”
