Reports have emerged from Alakuko, Lagos, alleging that a 14-year-old girl was assaulted by the son of her family’s landlord.
According to a post by an anonymous user known as #Rhwaley on Twitter, the incident took place recently. #Rhwaley shared videos of the victim and stated that when the family approached the landlord about the situation, he callously dismissed their concerns, claiming that “Nothing will happen”.
#Rhwaley’s post included this message along with the victim’s videos: “🔞🔞 – A 14-year-old girl was reportedly assaulted by her landlord’s son in Alakuko, Lagos. The girl’s parents and relatives are feeling helpless. The landlord’s response was heartless!”

Jubril Gawat, Senior Special Assistant on New Media to the Governor of Lagos State, reassured that there are avenues for assistance and urged the family to contact the Lagos State Domestic and Sexual Violence Response Team for support.
In response to #Rhwaley’s tweet, Gawat emphasized, “No one is helpless in this situation in our State. Contact #Lagosdsva IMMEDIATELY!”
