Rivers State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, Applauds Tinubu’s Selection of Walson-Jack as Head of Civil Service

In appreciation of President Bola Tinubu’s decision to appoint Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack as the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation, Rivers State Governor Siminalayi Fubara has lauded the move. Fubara also praised the new Head of Service of the Federation for her trailblazing achievement and for shattering barriers as an ambassador of Rivers State and the Niger Delta region.

These sentiments were conveyed in a statement released on Monday by the Chief Press Secretary to the Governor, Nelson Chukwudi, and circulated to the press.

Fubara highlighted Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack’s exceptional career in the Civil Service, culminating in her appointment as a Permanent Secretary in 2017. He emphasized her exemplary leadership qualities, unwavering integrity, courage, perseverance, and resilience.

Fubara also mentioned that Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack’s illustrious public service tenure will serve as an inspiration to numerous young girls in the state, motivating them to aim for remarkable achievements in their own lives.

Upon assuming the position of the new Head of the Civil Service of the Federation on 14th August, Fubara expressed pride in the significant milestone she has reached in her public service career.

He underlined Tinubu’s admirable consideration and reliance on merit in appointing Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack, commending him for his paternal approach to governance.

The Governor remarked that once again, Mr. President has demonstrated his dedication to fairness, justice, and national unity, all while adhering to the principles of federal character in his governance style.

He expressed confidence that Dame Didi Esther Walson-Jack will leverage her extensive experience in her new role, introducing innovative strategies to implement the service reforms outlined in President’s Renewed Hope Agenda for the benefit of all Nigerians.
