Explosion at Rivers APP Secretariat Shocks Residents

In a shocking turn of events, the APP’s secretariat located along the GRA axis in Port Harcourt, the capital of Rivers State, was hit by a dynamite explosion on Monday.

Reports indicate that the incident took place in the early hours of Monday, around 1 am.

According to sources, unidentified individuals threw dynamite sticks into the building housing the secretariat, causing damage to windows, doors, and other party property.

Speculation is rife that the State Governor, Siminalayi Fubara, might be planning to defect to the APP along with his supporters, adding a political twist to the incident.

An anonymous party official expressed their views on the situation, stating, “I received information about the attack around 3 am. This is clearly a politically-motivated act targeting our fast-growing party in the state. We urge the police to thoroughly investigate and apprehend those responsible.”

Meanwhile, the spokesperson for the state police command, Grace Iringe-Koko, mentioned that they were not yet informed about the incident.
