The Formation of the National Reconciliation Committee by PDP


A 25-member National Reconciliation Committee (NRC) has been constituted by the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP), with Prince Olagunsoye Oyinlola, a former Governor of Osun, appointed as the chairman.

In Abuja on Friday, Debo Ologunagba, the National Publicity Secretary of PDP, made this announcement.

The National Executive Committee (NEC) approved the appointment of the committee members.

Among the members listed by the party’s National Working Committee (NWC) are Sen. Ibrahim Dankwambo, former governor of Gombe State, serving as the secretary, and Chief Emmanuel Ogidi as a member.

Also included are Chibudom Nwuche, Alhaji Bello Gusau, Sen. Ben Obi, Sen. Tunde Ogbeha, Sen. Shuaibu Isa Lau, Dame Esther Uduehi, Sen. Zainab Kure, Kabiru Turaki, and Alhaja Mutia Ladoja.

Additionally, Dr Abimbola Ogunkelu, Ude Oko-Chukwu, Dr Boyelayefa Debekeme, Dr Eddy Olafeso, Chief Dan Ulasi, Abdulsamad Dasuki, Mr Segun Showunmi, Amina Faruk, Alhaji Hamza Koshe, Evang. Mike Ikoku, Jumoke Akinjide, Bisi Fakayode, and Chief Anicho Okoro are part of the committee, with Chief Anicho Okoro as the administrative secretary.

Ologunagba mentioned that the inauguration of the committee will take place on a date that will be communicated later.

He called on PDP leaders, stakeholders, and members to maintain their focus and commitment to the party’s vision, principles, aspirations, and the stability of both the party and the nation.
