It has been reported that famed American rapper, Travis Scott, found himself in police custody in Paris due to an altercation with a security guard.
The prominent hip hop artist, known for his Grammy nominations, was detained on Friday at the luxurious Georges V hotel in the heart of the French capital.
In an official statement, the Paris prosecutor’s office revealed that law enforcement officials were summoned to the Georges V hotel where they apprehended Travis Scott for an incident involving a security agent. The altercation had ensued when the singer’s bodyguard tried to intervene.
According to NewsNow, Scott was seen attending the men’s basketball semi-finals at the Olympics on Thursday.
Prior to this incident, in June, Scott had faced legal trouble in Miami Beach where he was arrested for charges related to trespassing and disorderly intoxication.
