Allegations of Plot to Overthrow Tinubu’s Government as Shehu Sani Claims Money Distribution Linked to Usage of Russian Flag

Senator Shehu Sani, a former federal lawmaker, has claimed that the recent display of Russian flags by protesters in Kano, Zamfara, and other northern states was part of a larger plot to overthrow the government led by President Bola Tinubu.

Concerns have been raised over the use of foreign flags by EndBadGovernance protesters in the northern states, with video clips showing them advocating for military rule in Nigeria.

Security operatives, including the Nigeria Police Force, DSS, and other agencies, have made several arrests in connection to the flag incidents.

During an appearance on a program on Channels Television, Sani stated that the distribution of money and Russian flags prior to the protests indicated ulterior motives beyond government policies.

According to Sani, “The sharing of money and flags signifies a deeper agenda aimed at destabilizing the government. It suggests a scripted narrative for chaos and disorder which must be addressed.”
