Noteworthy news arises as Super Eagles captain, William Troost-Ekong, is on the brink of joining a club in Saudi Arabia for the upcoming season.
Following an agreement between PAOK and Al Khalood, Troost-Ekong will be making the switch to the Saudi club after the clubs settled on a transfer fee.
Personal terms between the 30-year-old and his new Saudi club have also been successfully negotiated.
Renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, communicated the development, stating: “William Troost-Ekong has given his consent to move to Al Khalood in Saudi Arabia.
“A deal has been finalized between PAOK and Al Khalood including agreed fees and personal arrangements.
“The 30-year-old Nigerian defender is all set to join the Saudi Pro League.”
