Sad News: Akinmade, An Aide to Abiodun, Mourns the Loss of His Father

High Chief Moses Akinmade, renowned as the Obamoluwa of Idanre Kingdom and father of Kayode Akinmade, Special Adviser on Media and Strategy to Prince Dapo Abiodun, the Governor of Ogun State, has passed away.

The Akinmade family of Idanre, Ondo State, shared the news of the nonagenarian’s demise in a statement released on Tuesday. Akinmade, who previously served as Special Adviser on Media to the former Speaker of the House of Representatives, Dimeji Bankole, mentioned that the sad incident occurred on Monday evening.

In the statement, it was conveyed that although the family is grieving the loss of the agriculturist and culture enthusiast, they take comfort in the fact that the deceased led a remarkably distinguished life.

Akinmade, a seasoned journalist and former two-time Commissioner for Information in Ondo State, praised the late chief as a distinguished community leader, cocoa merchant, and socialite.

The late nonagenarian is survived by his wives and children.

The family will announce burial arrangements shortly.
