Guidance for Accessing the Student Loan Programme – Advice from Former Osun IPAC Chairman, Adebayo

Students are encouraged by Wale Adebayo, a former Chairman of the Inter-Party Advisory Council(IPAC) in Osun State, to make use of the government’s student loan programme.

During an interview with NewsNow on Monday in Osogbo, the capital of Osun State, Adebayo stressed the importance of obtaining education and skills.

He highlighted the loan scheme as a practical method for achieving this objective.

Adebayo recommended that students refrain from turning to protests and instead opt for dialogue and constructive interaction with the authorities as a more effective approach to addressing their issues.

He expressed the view that students must prioritize their education and engage in meaningful conversations with the government to resolve any concerns that arise.

“Rather than engaging in protests and demonstrations, our youth should be open to dialogue and constructive communication with the relevant authorities,” he advised.

He further conveyed that by adopting this approach, they can effectively convey their concerns and collaborate towards finding mutually beneficial solutions.

Emphasizing on the benefits of dialogue, he stated, “Engaging in dialogue facilitates mutual understanding, respect, and cooperation, leading to positive outcomes and enduring changes.”

“We should motivate our young individuals to embrace dialogues and actively contribute to shaping their own future as well as that of the nation,” he added.
