Chelsea Owners Beware: Maresca Stands Firm Against Unsuitable Players

Emphasizing his stance, Chelsea’s Enzo Maresca asserts his authority in transfer dealings by vetoing any player he deems unsuitable for his team.

The Italian manager’s declaration underscores his active role in the club’s summer transfer activity.

With Chelsea offloading certain key players and welcoming new additions, Maresca addresses criticism towards some of the Blues’ transfer choices, stressing his significant involvement in such determinations.

During a media interaction on Monday evening, Maresca queried, “How can I welcome a player who doesn’t align with my tactical vision?” as relayed by Fabrizio Romano.

“I believe every manager around the globe is part of the decision-making process,” he added.

Assessing the current squad positively, Maresca remains open to enhancing it further, stating, “The squad is already strong, but we are prepared to make additional improvements if feasible.”
