The founder of the renowned Mark D’ Ball Basketball Championship, Igoche Mark, is optimistic about the Nigerian women’s basketball team, D’Tigress, securing a podium finish at the upcoming Paris 2024 Olympics through some minor adjustments.

Reflecting on the recent match where Rene Wakama’s team faced France, Mark expressed his pride in the team’s performance despite their 75-54 loss to the host country. He commended their bravery, determination, and agility on the court.

In a post-game interview, Mark praised D’Tigress for their remarkable display against one of the top women’s basketball teams globally, acknowledging their unwavering spirit and skills.

During the game, D’Tigress showcased exceptional moments, particularly in their aggressive defense, resulting in 13 steals that illustrated their collective quick reflexes and awareness during gameplay.
