A declaration has been made by Sunshine Stars regarding Abdulrafiu Taiwo, Osimaga Duke, and Lucky Nwafor who are currently AWOL.
The club has reported that these three players have failed to participate in the pre-season training alongside their teammates with official consent.
Warning has been issued by Owena Waves to other clubs and agents cautioning them against engaging in any transfer dealings with these players without prior authorization.
It has been emphasized that the players are still under contract with Sunshine Stars and any attempt to secure their services unlawfully will result in legal action.
Meanwhile, the remaining squad is presently in Akure making preparations for the upcoming 2024/25 NPFL season.
A series of friendly matches is anticipated for the Akure club before the commencement of the new season.
