Curfew Imposed by Karu Local Government Council Amid Protests

A night curfew from 6 pm to 6 am has been enforced by the Karu Local Government Council in Nasarawa State, effective immediately, due to escalating security issues in the area.

The Executive Chairman, Hon. James B. Thomas (Jarumin Kodape), announced this measure on Thursday in response to the current situation.

Under this curfew, movement is restricted for all individuals, including motorcyclists, tricycle riders, shop owners, and motorists, as revealed by the Chairman.

According to a statement signed by Danbaba Uba Magaji, the SSA on Media and Publicity, the curfew will remain in place until further notice.
