Chelsea is reportedly in advanced discussions with Napoli to secure the services of Victor Osimhen. This potential deal could involve a swap with Romelu Lukaku heading to Napoli in exchange.
Chelsea is prepared to offer a significant sum to Napoli as part of the transfer in order to acquire the Nigerian striker for the upcoming season.
Osimhen, aged 25, has been seeking a move away from Napoli, with interest from top clubs such as Paris Saint-Germain. However, Napoli’s €130m release clause has deterred potential suitors, with Chelsea emerging as frontrunners in the race for his signature.
The negotiations involve a potential swap deal for Lukaku, valued at around €30m by Napoli, despite his €44m release clause. Chelsea would need to pay an additional €70m to secure Osimhen’s transfer, a move that the player is reportedly open to.
