Roberto Calenda, the agent of Victor Osimhen, has refuted claims of his client moving to Chelsea on loan.
Reports from The Athletic earlier today suggested that Chelsea is in talks for a loan agreement with an option to buy for Osimhen.
The transfer was rumored to involve Belgium international Romelu Lukaku moving to Napoli on a permanent deal as part of the arrangement.
Calenda has strongly dismissed these rumors.
“I came across reports of ‘fantasy exchanges’ involving Victor, treating him as though he is a commodity to be swiftly traded,” Calenda expressed on X.
“But remember, this ‘commodity’ is the leading goal scorer in Napoli’s third Scudetto victory.”
