Direct negotiations are currently ongoing between Atletico Madrid and Chelsea to secure the services of midfielder Conor Gallagher for their manager, Diego Simeone.
The latest update came from renowned football transfer expert, Fabrizio Romano, who shared the development via a tweet on his X account earlier this week.
Romano revealed that Gallagher is a priority target for Atletico Madrid in this summer’s transfer window.
He stated, “Negotiations are in progress for a deal valued at approximately €35/40m with add-ons as requested by Chelsea.
Following the earlier report in May that Gallagher was at the top of Atletico’s wishlist, Romano tweeted, “Gallagher is now edging closer to a potential move.”
