According to a report by NewsNow, Shooting Stars have confirmed their participation in an upcoming pre-season tournament in Enugu.
The tournament is scheduled to commence on Thursday, August 1st, 2024.
Club’s media officer, Tosin Omojola, released a statement announcing the involvement of the Oluyole Warriors in the tournament.
Joining Shooting Stars in the competition will be Rangers, Enyimba, Kano Pillars, and Remo Stars.
Additionally, teams like FC Kalon from Sierra Leone, Cotton FC from Benin Republic, Gor Mahia from Kenya, and the Brazilian side Corinthians have also been invited to participate.
NewsNow also mentions that Gbenga Ogunbote’s team is currently partaking in a pre-season tournament in Ikenne.
