According to reports from NewsNow, Godwin Obaje has officially signed with Oman Club, a team in the Omani Pro League.

Obaje made the decision to leave Rangers, the current champions of the Nigeria Premier Football League, following the end of his contract with the club.

During the previous season, the striker played a crucial role in helping Rangers achieve their title victory.

With 12 goals scored in 36 league games for the Flying Antelopes, the 27-year-old demonstrated his scoring prowess.

Obaje notably emerged as the top scorer in the NPFL during the 2016/17 campaign.

Prior to his time at Rangers, he had stints playing for various NPFL clubs including Wikki Tourists, Plateau United, and Abia Warriors.
