Nasarawa United is in anticipation of the NPFL’s approval for their return to their home ground

The approval of Nigeria Premier Football League is being awaited by Nasarawa United to return back to their home ground, Lafia Township Stadium.

An on-the-spot assessment of the stadium was carried out by Nasarawa State government officials in preparation for the NPFL’s upcoming visit on Monday.

During the 2022-23 season, Nasarawa United was suspended from hosting NPFL games at the stadium due to the poor condition of the pitch.

Last season, Nasarawa United played their home matches at the stadium in the Nigeria National League, NNL.

Having secured their promotion to the NPFL last season, the Solid Miners are geared up to face Shooting Stars in their first game of the new season.
