The Redeemed Christian Church of God, The Calvary Area Headquarters, Province 89, Oshodi, Lagos State, organized a medical outreach in a Lagos community as part of its 27th-anniversary celebration, benefiting over 1,000 adults and children.

For the past 10 years, this event has been a staple in the community, providing services such as free medical consultations, healthy living advice, blood pressure checks, blood sugar screening, deworming, and eye tests among others.

PUNCH Metro revealed that the outreach was a collaborative effort involving the Chike Okoli Foundation, Emzor Pharmaceuticals, and Pharmatex Industries.

Mr. Bode Martins, the program coordinator, highlighted that the outreach aimed to give back to the community by offering free medical services to both adults and children.

In the past decade, over 5,000 individuals have benefited from this initiative, with support from Emzor Pharmaceuticals and Pharmatex Nigeria Limited, who provide medications free of charge. Additionally, volunteer medical doctors lend their time and expertise to the cause.

The outreach aims to assist those without the financial means to seek medical care, aligning with the church’s Corporate Social Responsibility. Mr. Martins emphasized the church’s commitment to caring for its members.
