FBI to Interview Trump as Victim of Assassination Attempt

An agreement has been reached for the Federal Bureau of Investigation, FBI, to conduct a victim interview with former President Donald Trump, who was the Republican presidential candidate.

Regarding the failed assassination attempt on Trump’s life in Butler, Pennsylvania approximately one month ago, the FBI will be conducting this interview.

FBI Special Agent Kevin Rojek stated that the victim interview with Trump will follow standard procedure, similar to interviews conducted with any other crime victim.

During Trump’s presidential campaign in Butler, Thomas Mathew Crooks attempted to assassinate him but missed and was subsequently killed.

In a statement made on Monday, Rojek mentioned, “We want to get his perspective on what he observed.”

Further insights were shared by Rojek, saying, “We have learned the subject was highly intelligent, attended college, and maintained steady employment.”

“His primary social circle appears to be limited to his immediate family as we believe he had few friends and acquaintances.”

FBI officials have indicated that Crooks’s parents were unaware of their son’s plot in advance. Rojek expressed, “We do find that to be credible at this stage.”
