Former Governor Matawalle Mourns the Passing of DG Protocol, Kabiru Yusuf

Condolences have been extended by the immediate past governor of Zamfara State, Hon. Bello Mohammed Matawalle, to the family of his former Director-General of Protocol, Kabiru Yusuf, who sadly passed away on Monday following a short illness.

A delegation led by the State’s chairman of the All Progressive Congress, APC, Tukur Umar Danfulani, was tasked with delivering Matawalle’s heartfelt sympathies.

Yusuf, who served as Matawalle’s DG Protocol, was remembered as a modest gentleman who fulfilled his responsibilities with dedication, zeal, and integrity.

The former governor was taken aback by the news of the death of the former protocol officer, who had risen to the position of Permanent Secretary at the State Ministry of Youths and Sports.

Matawalle highlighted Yusuf’s positive impact, citing his role in mentoring individuals and leading a devout life guided by Islamic principles that influenced those around him.

He offered prayers for the peaceful rest of Yusuf’s soul in Jannaatu Firdausi and for his family to find strength in coping with this profound loss.
