Ohanaeze Youths Praise Tinubu for South-East Development Commission Bill Approval

President Bola Tinubu has received accolades from the apex Igbo socio-cultural organization, Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, for endorsing the South East Development Commission Bill.

By signing the strategic bill into law, the President has paved the way for further growth and progress in the South East region.

In a statement released to the media on Wednesday, Mazi Okwu Nnabuike, the National President of Ohanaeze Ndigbo Youth Council Worldwide, hailed President Tinubu as a historical figure.

Okwu emphasized that the establishment of the Commission would expedite development in the South East and herald a new era of progress post-civil war.

Highlighting the dire need for infrastructure improvement in the region, Okwu expressed confidence that the Commission would significantly elevate the level of infrastructure in the South East.

The Igbo group commended President Tinubu, the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives, and their colleagues for their remarkable achievement.

Furthermore, they reiterated their appeal to Igbo youths to refrain from participating in the planned nationwide protest.
