In a recent statement, Imo State Governor, Hope Uzodinma, pointed out that the planned protest against hardship in the country is being orchestrated by troublemakers aiming to discredit the government.
He emphasized that there hasn’t been a unified call from citizens across the country to support the protest against the prevailing difficulties, stating that the people of the southeast region would not endorse such actions.
Uzodinma expressed these sentiments on Wednesday during a visit to the Presidential Villa with former Senate President and ex-Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Anyim Pius Anyim, who defected to the All Progressives Congress.
He urged Nigerians to be patient with the Federal Government as it navigates through the inherited challenges.
