Alert: Nasarawa State Government Warns of Possible Disturbances

An alarming discovery has been made by the Nasarawa State government regarding potential disruptions to peace within the state, as certain groups are suspected of planning mayhem.

According to a statement from Yusuf Musa, the Permanent Secretary of the Ministry of Information, Culture, and Tourism, security agencies have uncovered this disturbing plot.

The group is reportedly targeting high-profile individuals in the state, with a strategy that involves using their associates as vulnerable targets.

Emphasizing the seriousness of the situation, the government urges all citizens to stay vigilant and promptly report any suspicious behavior or unfamiliar individuals to the security authorities.

In a collaborative effort with various security forces such as the Nigeria Police, Department of State Security Service (DSS), Nigeria Army, Nigeria Security, and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), the Nasarawa State Government has already taken proactive measures to apprehend the alleged members of this group and their sponsors.

“Security agencies are actively working to thwart the plans of these criminals and others, reassuring the public to remain calm and carry on with their lawful activities, while remaining attentive and reporting any dubious persons or actions,” the statement stated.

Furthermore, citizens are specifically warned to be on the lookout for two fair-skinned, medium-height females often dressed entirely in black clothing.

The Permanent Secretary also reiterated the commitment of Governor Abdullahi Sule’s administration to fulfilling its obligations to the people by vigorously executing policies and initiatives that drive the state towards progress and advancement.

“His Excellency Engr. Abdullahi A. Sule, the executive governor of Nasarawa State, remains dedicated to safeguarding the lives and properties of the citizens by working tirelessly to ensure their protection,” the statement affirmed.
