Julie Dreyfus, born on the 24th January 1966 in Paris, France, is best known for her roles in Quentin Tarantino‘s blockbusters such as “Kill Bill: Vol. 1” (2003), “Kill Bill: Vol. 2” (2004) as well as in “Inglourious Basterds” (2009) for which she was honored with Screen Actors Guild Award. She gained further recognition for her appearance in the Japanese culinary TV show “Ryôri no Tetsujin” (Iron Chef).

With her fluency in multiple languages, she made her on-camera debut in the 1992 drama “Toki rakujitsu”. Her breakthrough came in 1994 in Rintaro Mayuzumi’s “Rampo” and she gained worldwide popularity after featuring in Justin Hardy‘s comical drama “A Feast at Midnight” in the same year. Her most notable roles include appearances in Quentin Tarantino’s films “Kill Bill: Vol. 1”, “Kill Bill: Vol. 2”, and “Inglourious Basterds”.

Julie Dreyfus has also starred in Japanese TV series such as “Kyûkei no Kôya” in 2010 and “Kamo, kyôto e iku – shinise ryokan no okami nikki” in 2013.
